SHOOT WITH NITI TAYLOR
With her roots in Delhi, Niti’s first big win came with her television debut with the serial Pyaar Ka Bandhan in 2009. Her big break came through her first lead role as Nandini Murthy in MTV’s youth show Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan. Since then there has been no looking back for her.
The very pretty and cheerful Niti Taylor posed for my gears in Mumbai. Here is the gist of the entire shoot through my eyes.
The shoot was planned after I received hundreds of messages from various fan pages of Niti. Her fans felt that I could execute the shoot well and they wanted me to make her pose in various looks. That is when I got in touch with Niti and we planned the shoot in Mumbai.
The shoot was planned on a course of 6 hours in a studio near Film City. The first shot was a casual floral look and was planned to do amidst a little greenery in a park but as soon as I took my first shot nature struck its chord and it started raining. We rushed back to the studio and then I tried to create an outdoor kind of floral setup in the studio. Here is the final shot!!
The second look as per our plans and Niti’s requirement was an Indo Western Look in which we gave her a beautiful “Nath” and was paired up with a black dress. This particular frame I intentionally kept a little tight to get the entire feel of an Indo western look!!
The third one was a retro look. This particular shot was also done in the studio but gives an amazing outdoor feel.
The street fashion was the inspiration of the last look. Its a normal college going look which had high waist shorts paired up with a shirt. Here it goes:
While in between the makeup and hair sessions I had had a little Q&A session with Niti which was a fun time. So here are excerpts from the interview:
Q. As a child what did you wish to become when you grew up?
A. I always wanted to be a teacher but very few know, more than a teacher I wanted to become Miss Universe.
Q. In a fairytale world if you are a princess, how would you like a prince to propose you?
A. For the man I will be the princess if I am not a real princess, I would like to be proposed near the beach with dim lights, rain, piano, and dance.
Q. What kind of a man has more chance to get your attention? He has to be handsome, or an average looking can get the same?
A. For me looks never mattered. It’s the personality that matters the most to me.
Q. What advice would you like to give to your female fans on choosing a right partner for them?
A. I am not going to give any advice. Everyone should experience everything. Just go for someone who makes you happy and gives you the zoo in your tummy.
Q. What kind of men should stay away from you?
A. Men who beat women. The worst thing ever.
